Biography

Ola Leszczewicz & Maciej “Madié” Bielinski

Are a couple known as major promoters of Kizomba and African dances within Poland. Based in Warsaw, Poland, they are leaders of Salsa Point dance studio, and the hosts of the biggest Eastern Europe kizomba event – the Warsaw Kizomba Festival (www.kizombafestival.pl). They are dancers, and international teachers, known for their profound technical approach, and the ability to explain even the smallest details in a very accesible way.

Ola Leszczewicz

Is also known as the pioneer of salsa in Poland (since 1998) and the person responsible for introducing kizomba to Poland in 2007. Having gained her dancing skills all around the world, while participating in over 50 international salsa and kizomba festivals, and traveling to Cuba, New York and Portugal to dive into the roots of the dances she loves, she began to teach and perform at many dance events not only in Poland, but also Germany, Holland, Latvia, Egypt and Portugal. Being the very first salsa and kizomba teacher in her country she managed to master the dance technique both as a leader and follower, which makes her teaching much more complete. She’s also a coach at the national training courses for dance instructors.
When teaching, Ola and Maciej focus on making the difficult – easy, and sharing their dance feeling and knowledge in a funny but effective way.
